Sculptor Barbara marries John. They have a son. When she has a relationship with Ben, she gives birth to triplets, four years later they marry.
Her son Paul dies in a flight accident in 1953.
Barbara’s abstract sculptures of are very well received.
Seven years before she dies in a fire in her studio she is honored with ‘the most excellent order of the british empire’.
