Two years after their engagement Zelda and Frances have a daughter.
The family travels to Europe. Scottie is taken care of by a nanny.
Zelda is educated as a dancer, she writes novels and makes paintings.
She is in bad health, suffering of schizophrenia she has to be hospitalized several times.
Zelda and Frances are growing apart.
Scottie lives with her father and visits a boarding school.
Zelda dies in a fire in the clinic.
